“Having then gifts differing according to the grace that is given to us, let us use them: if…ministry, let us use it in our ministering; he who teaches, in teaching…he who leads, with diligence…”
Romans 12:6-8
Country Christian’s philosophy is based upon the Word of God. The schools’ primary objective and purpose as a ministry of The Country Church are to train each student to blend Christian character with academic excellence. Evangelistic efforts are made to bring all students to the saving knowledge of Jesus Christ. Since these schools are recognized as a ministry, Country Christian operates according to the statement of faith and fundamental beliefs of The Country Church and derives its codes of conduct, guidelines, and morality standards from such. There is an emphasis on character training through obedience, which will cultivate inner self-discipline and respect for authority essential to the students’ emotional well-being.
As far as academia is concerned, it is our purpose to continually evaluate and upgrade our curricula and teaching styles to instruct and ensure the learning of subject-specific content effectively. We do this through teacher training days, staff devotions, and other occasional opportunities. We believe that no one is ever too old to learn. To obey, to do right, to love God and country, and to always measure one’s actions and attitudes against the standards of Scripture are characteristics we strive to live by example and to instill in each student; thus, equipping them for their roles in God’s plan for their lives and their proper place in society.
